Why Surfers Choice v2.0? HUH?
Affiliate Funnel undergoes some major changes. The big change is the relaunch of the Traffic Exchange Ranker/Surfers Choice v2.0. Here are some of the major changes:

What’s the single most important stat you need to know when you’re looking for a good TE? Numbers of new members weekly. Surfers Choice v2.0 tracks and displays new member growth for current week and the last eight weeks. No other TE ranker does this.
What else would you really like to know? Speed of traffic? You got it. Surfers Choice will track and display millions of hits weekly. Literally millions of hits each and every week. No other TE ranker does this.
And of course Affiliate Funnel has the Surfers Choice itself. The actual votes – no other TE ranker does this either but … what has actually changed?
Votes will now be more dynamic – decaying over time if members don’t login to AF. This improves the rankings as active members vote count more and incentivizes logins.
AF members will be able to vote for any exchange in the ranker BUT they will only be able to join and add their referral links for the top twenty. If you are not a member of Affiliate Funnel, you can vote for a particular traffic exchange in the exchanges members area. Just click on the ‘AF Vote Here‘ button.
The Affiliate Funnel sales page has been rewritten and is converting much better. AF is split-testing three versions and constantly tweaking for improvements so conversion will just keep on getting better and better.
Finally, the Affiliate Toolbox is completely overhauled with heaps of high converting promotional tools.

During the 10 day relaunch, There will be high converting One-Time-Offers, Plus AF is paying $1.00 per referral. So there will be opportunities for commissions for all.
I like the fact that you mention the decay factor. This is such an important factor in the rankings being accurate, and kudos to the AF team for realizing that.
It is good that they are working to make it better for everyone by making changes and what not but I wish they would tell you which pages are converting instead of wasting tens of thousands of credits testing them all.
The other thing that I found out about the top recruiters of Affiliate Funnel are traffic exchange owners with massive memberships.
So if you are a small fish in the pond with a list of 100 people, don’t forget that you are competing with various traffic exchange owners that have over 5,000 members.

What one needs to do is make their own splash/squeeze pages. Affiliate splash pages are being used by the thousands. You want to look different.
I have written articles on this blog showing people 3 different ways to make or use templates for you splash pages…..InstantSqueeze Page Generatorm, Splash Page Maker and SharkFrenzyGraphics. Thes programs work and I use them all the time.
I am not an owner of any programs and do not have a personal list of 5000, but am able to get in the top 15-20 in most referral contests. I can level the field a bit by joining and upgrading in a program like DownlineBuilderDirect where I am able to email to 20,000. It does not cost that much and has paid for itself. These type of programs work. I have gotten Affiliate Funnel referrals and sold several copies of an ebook that sells for $7.00 with 100% commissions. Here are the two urls:
