What Makes a Bad or Good Traffic Exchange? - Part III

This weeks report is showing you some really, really bad traffic exchanges. I think it is important to tell you the bad as well as the good traffic exchanges.

Tim Linden, owner of StartXchange, also has a free traffic exchange ranking service called ‘Traffic Exchange List‘. Tim tracks the delivery of traffic to urls. Tim describes his list as:

“Traffic Exchange Reports allow you to make better decisions on which exchanges you should be advertising on. Traffic Exchange List collects statistics from various rotator services to create the reports. Note that since StartXchange and Traffic Exchange List are owned by the same person, StartXchange will not be ranked in the reports and will always display “N/A”.”

These traffic exchanges delivered so little traffic that they are not ranked. The exchanges delivered between 0 and 74 hits during the latest 6 week period.

Ranking services are not the final answer for which traffic exchanges to surf, but can be a very effective guide for a starting point. Your best bet is to track your advertising efforts using a tracker system. Using a tracker of some kind can tell you where your results are coming. I have successfully used HitsConnect for years. Unfortunately, most surfers do not track their advertising efforts.
