If a traffic exchange gives you a way to communicate with your referrals, use it. Send each new referral a ‘welcome’ email introducing yourself. You should give the new referral your name and a way of contacting you if they need assistance. This simple act can lead to a loyal team member who may join you in different ventures. When communicating with team members always use a signature file. Keep the signature file simple and more importantly it is free advertising.

Many traffic exchanges/programs now offer live online conferences.   These conferences are valuable in getting to know the exchange/program owner and finding good information about the particular exchange/program. Many of these conferences have an open question and answer session. It is an excellent opportunity to get your questions answered. In many of these conferences other exchange/program owners may be in attendance and it can be very interesting listening and partaking in conversations with these individuals. It is an opportunity that should not be missed.
